Over fifty-five children live together in the four lovely but very little Pedro Atala Homes. These tiny houses are nestled almost one atop another in a quiet corner of Tegucigalpa. Here the children range from three to fifteen years in age. Some are orphaned and others have parents in prison or under the influence of drugs. They are all victims of extreme poverty. Here Sociedad Amigos de Los Niños works tirelessly to provide each child with food, clothing, shelter and education. |
